In order to be able to determine the most important parameters within a few minutes, we have our own laboratory area . Especially in emergencies, determining blood values in practice is an advantage in order to be able to take further, possibly life-saving measures as quickly as possible.

Diagnostic options in the laboratory
Our diagnostic options include:
- Blood Tests : We perform a variety of blood tests to diagnose various diseases and conditions in pets, including infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases and metabolic diseases.
- Urinalysis : A urine test helps us detect and treat kidney dysfunction, urinary tract infections, and other urological problems.
- Parasitology : We examine your pet for the presence of internal and external parasites, such as worms, fleas and ticks, to ensure appropriate treatment.
- Bacteriology : Our laboratory offers fast and precise bacteriological examinations in order to detect bacterial infections early and treat them specifically.
- Cytology : Cytology is an important method for diagnosing inflammation, infections and tumor diseases. We - our expert vet Anna Daum - analyze cell samples from different areas of the body to determine the cause of changes and symptoms.
- Histopathology : Histopathology enables a detailed examination of tissue samples and is essential for the diagnosis of tumors and other tissue changes - we send the samples to the leading institute in Germany for assessment.
- Blood group determination : Since we have the first blood bank for animals in the Karlsruhe district and have a large donor database, we also have equipment for the corresponding blood group determination.
