Veterinarian as assistant veterinarian (m/f/d) for small animal medicine

Dear animal-loving friends and friends on two legs,

Have you ever wanted to work with cute, fluffy patients who don't talk back when you tell them to "Ahhh"? Then hop on your vet's coat and come over to the Arndt Small Animal Center in Karlsruhe, where the love of animals is so great that even the goldfish in the waiting room gets therapeutic advice!

We are on the hunt for a veterinarian (m/f/d) with a love of small animals and a soft spot for the inner workings of our four-legged friends - and no, we don't mean that you should stuff pets. Internal medicine and diagnostic imaging are our thing - especially when it comes to finding a Chihuahua's heart (just kidding, we know they have one).

For us, the focus is not only on the animal, but also on you as a human being. Don't worry, we won't bite - unless there are cookies. We are a big, furry family that supports each other, whether cleaning the litter box or hunting for treasure in the hamster cage.

Your mission, should you accept it:

  • Puts a smile on the faces of our fluffy clients.
  • Leads a team of animal health guardians more interested in treats than raises.
  • Use your secret superpowers in internal medicine and diagnostic imaging to save animal lives (cape and tights not required).

Qualifications:

  • You should at least be able to tell a hamster from a rabbit.
  • A burning passion for animal welfare that warms even the coldest cat bowl.

What we offer:

  • A salary that will let you swim in chocolate and dog food.
  • Promote your specialization - who hasn't always wanted to be an expert in iguana braces?
  • A wide range of treatments: cutting a parrot's claws today, a braces consultation for a pit bull tomorrow.

And the best? Weekend service only once a month - perfect for all night owls who prefer to spend the day sleeping. Plus, you get a 4-day work week, which means more time to cuddle with your own furball!

So if you're interested in becoming part of a team that's more like a crazy but lovable extended family, get on your brushes and come join us! We can't wait to welcome you into our circle of animal lovers.

Send your CV and a letter of motivation explaining why you look better with a stethoscope than without it to Mr Arndt at: s.arndt@doc4pets.gmbh . Or post it via carrier pigeon – we are flexible.

Animal greetings and see you soon at the Arndt Small Animal Center, where the love for animals is so great that even the flea treatments are carried out in the shape of a heart!

Veterinarian job description - job offers

Hardly any other profession is viewed with as much admiration and respect as that of a veterinarian. He has a license to heal and save animals and pays handsomely for it. Years of studying medicine, physics and state examinations are the cornerstones that every veterinarian must master. But things don't get any easier for him after that. As an assistant doctor in a clinic, he has to work day and night shifts, and weekends and public holidays are the order of the day. The subsequent training to become a specialist veterinarian is also no walk in the park. The highest level that a veterinarian or veterinary specialist can achieve in their life is the diplomate exam. However, it is a hard road to get there. In general, life as a veterinarian is characterized by deprivation and sacrifice.

A veterinarian gives up a lot for his job, for his career, for veterinary medicine, but at the same time he also gets a lot. This is mainly the recognition and thanks of the patient owners and especially the little four-legged friends. Jobs and vacancies in veterinary clinics and veterinary practices are in high demand, but finding a veterinarian is not difficult because veterinarians are needed everywhere. In Germany there are more than 15 specialties for veterinarians.

These include, for example, specialist veterinarians for small and pet animals, small animal surgery and imaging diagnostics and much more. doc4pets offers numerous job offers for veterinarians. Whether you are looking for a job in a veterinary clinic or a veterinary practice, whether you are looking for vacancies as an assistant veterinarian, specialist veterinarian or senior doctor and whether you would like to focus on general medicine or another specialty - we have the right position for you.

As a veterinarian, all paths are open to us in the doc4pets group. Do you want to become a specialist in a field or one day take over your own veterinary practice as managing director and/or partner? With us you have the chance, as many before you have already shown. With our concept for veterinarians, we are probably unique on the German market and we are proud to give young veterinarians a real chance. That's why we look forward to receiving your application as a veterinarian, veterinary assistant or intern!

You see, as a veterinarian or veterinary assistant, a world with many great job offers is open to you. Don't hesitate to apply for one of our job offers.
