Animal welfare

Within our means, we are involved in local animal welfare efforts with cat protection associations, animal shelters, etc. In emergencies, we have also succeeded in nursing very sick animals back to health, covering the costs and finding them a new home.

Furthermore, we support animal welfare efforts:

Orphaned elephant calves in East Africa

The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, one of the pioneering organizations for the protection of wildlife and its habitat in East Africa, is today the world's most successful rescue and rehabilitation program for orphaned elephants.

The foundation's activities include, in addition to hand-rearing elephants and rhinos, comprehensive measures to protect African wildlife, such as combating poaching, protecting flora and fauna, raising public awareness, and providing veterinary care for animals in need.

We support this project, collect donations and sponsor orphaned elephants.

Tallara 0

We all have the horrific images of the fires in Australia in mind, which have probably already claimed the lives of half a billion animals.

We've all seen the heartbreaking images of koalas dying of thirst or burning. We've all shared these images on social media, expressing our sympathy. But that alone isn't enough and doesn't help the animals there. That's why we wanted to actively support the volunteer organizations working there and therefore decided to symbolically adopt the Koala girl Tallara (See picture) decided. Tallara was born on April 26, 2016. The adoption includes a donation to the "Australian Koala Foundation," which has been working independently of the government to protect koalas in Australia since 1986. In addition to koalas, you can also donate trees, which the koalas need to survive.
