We are now a dual partner of the DHBW

It is with great pleasure and pride that doc4pets Karlsruhe/Karlsbad GmbH is now an official dual partner of the DHBW (the renowned Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University). This significant partnership symbolizes our deep commitment to education and professionalization in the field of veterinary medicine. As a dual partner of the DHBW, we not only have the opportunity to provide our employees with first-class academic training, but also to integrate the principle of dual education into our practice.

This enables us to offer prospective students in the field of veterinary assistants a unique combination of theory and practice. The special thing about it: Our students not only receive a recognized bachelor's degree, but also benefit from their own salary during their studies. We are thrilled to be able to offer this exciting and future-oriented opportunity to other interested parties and look forward to the promising talents who will begin their academic and professional careers at doc4pets Karlsruhe/Karlsbad GmbH.

We are pleased to announce that our former veterinary assistant trainee and later team leader, Alina Wolf to study business administration health management in the winter semester as part of the partnership with the to begin in 2023/24. It fills us with great pride to be able to provide such progressive educational paths for our trainees with a high school diploma or technical college entrance qualification.

Up until now, veterinary assistants with a high school diploma or a technical college entrance qualification only had two options available to them - either they began studying veterinary medicine or were only able to undertake very limited further training in the field of veterinary medicine (e.g. in the field of anaesthesia). In the latter case, career prospects were correspondingly limited. We are now trying to break this with a new alternative as a dual partner of the DHBW and give dedicated veterinary employees the opportunity to obtain academic degrees outside of veterinary medicine.

The Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) has made an outstanding name for itself in Germany's educational landscape over the last few decades. With its collaboration with around 9,000 companies and social institutions, it offers a first-class platform for future specialists and managers.

Unique cooperation between companies and DHBW

The Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University is much more than just a university. It is an association of science and business that makes it possible to optimally prepare young talent for their career entry.

Summary of why we are a dual partner of the DHBW

A dual course of study at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) offers numerous advantages, both for students and for us - dual partner of the DHBW.

For students, working with us as a dual partner of the DHBW means access to valuable practical experience parallel to academic studies. This combination of theory and practice prepares you optimally for the job market and increases your career prospects.

The DHBW dual partner, in turn, benefits from direct access to talented young people who they can select and train themselves. This ensures that students acquire exactly the skills and knowledge needed in the company or institution.

In addition, the DHBW dual partners can actively shape the quality and relevance of teaching by bringing in their own specialists as lecturers. This not only promotes the quality of the training, but also strengthens the connection between the DHBW and the dual partner.

Thanks to the dual study concept, students also benefit from their own salary and at the same time have the security of employment with the DHBW dual partner. This reduces financial burdens and allows students to fully concentrate on their studies.

The DHBW's dual partners, in turn, benefit from an improved image because they present themselves as supportive and future-oriented employers. You can be sure that thanks to the close cooperation with the DHBW you will receive well-trained graduates.

In addition, the cooperation with a DHBW dual partner offers companies and institutions the opportunity to actively participate in the further development of study programs and curricula. This means you can ensure that the educational offerings always meet the current market requirements.

In conclusion, it can be said that both students and the DHBW's dual partners benefit in many ways from a dual study program at the DHBW. It is a win-win model in which everyone involved – students, the university and the DHBW dual partners – benefit from the synergies and advantages of the collaboration.
