Nasal lymphoma in the cat

Nasal lymphoma in the cat is one of the malignant tumors of the lymphatic system and in practice only takes up about five percent of all Feline lymphomas, but causes disproportionately large clinical and therapeutic challenges. Cat holders initially mostly notice harmless sniffing symptoms, but this aggressive tumor can hide behind a chronic nose outflow, recurrent sneezing or bloody-assistant secretion. An early diagnosis significantly improves the survival time- several studies from North America (e.g. Cornell Feline Health Center, Link) show that combined radiation and chemotherapy enable median survival rates of up to two years.
